TENNIS
Basic Information:
The Crimson Tennis Club was created as a way for high school tennis players to continue their competitive play on the collegiate level. Members are expected to attend practice regularly and participate in head to head contests or tournaments. The club either hosts or travels to other collegiate clubs in the south, as well as participating in several tournaments throughout the fall and spring Terms.
The club also provides an innercollegiate organization for players interested in less competitive play or for amateurs interested in getting in the game. It is a wonderful way to meet other players on campus who love tennis, or to compete with your current friends against other UA students. Teams are typically comprised of 3 boys and 3 girls. Teams play 5 matches: 1 boys and girl’s singles; and 1 boys, girls, and mixed doubles of 8 game pro sets. Matches are held on Sundays.

New Members can join at the beginning of every semester. Dues for the Club are $75 per year or $40 per semester. Fees cover match balls, t-shirts and part of travel expenses.
